Attendant Information

The Personal Assistant Program is based on the philosophies of  independent living and consumer control.  A personal assistant can enable a person with a physical disability to reach a level of independence based on personal choices.  A personal attendant is an individual who is hired, trained and supervised by a person with a physical disability, to help with routines of daily living and other tasks they are unable to perform alone.  Wages are $7.50 per hour and paid every two weeks.
